Itinerary

A detailed day-by-day journey through Morocco's most breathtaking landscapes.

Day 1

Tangier: Arrival & City Tour

Your 7-day Morocco tour from Tangier to Marrakech begins with a private pickup from Tangier airport, ferry terminal or your hotel.

Start exploring Tangier, a fascinating city overlooking the meeting point of the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. Visit the historic Kasbah, walk through the old Medina and explore the Grand Socco, one of the city's lively meeting points.

Continue toward Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea meet, and visit the nearby Caves of Hercules if time allows. Tangier's location has given it a unique blend of Moroccan, Mediterranean and European influences.

In the afternoon, enjoy free time to explore the Medina, shop for local handicrafts or relax at a traditional Moroccan café. Your first evening is free to enjoy Tangier at your own pace before returning to your accommodation.

Tangier Breakfast
Day 2

Tangier → Chefchaouen → Fes

After breakfast, depart Tangier and travel toward the Rif Mountains and the famous blue city of Chefchaouen.

Arrive in Chefchaouen and explore its charming Medina, where blue-painted buildings, narrow lanes, small squares and local craft shops create one of Morocco's most recognizable urban landscapes. Chefchaouen is built on a mountainside and is also known for walking routes in the surrounding Rif Mountains.

Take time to explore the Kasbah, Plaza Uta el-Hammam and the colorful streets surrounding the old town. You will have time for lunch in the Medina and opportunities to take photographs of the famous blue architecture.

In the afternoon, continue toward Fes. The journey takes you through changing landscapes as you leave the Rif Mountains behind. Arrive in Fes in the evening and check into your riad or hotel.

~310 km Fes Breakfast
Day 3

Full-Day Fes Sightseeing Tour

Today is dedicated to exploring Fes, Morocco's historic spiritual and cultural center.

With a local guide, begin your sightseeing tour in the old Medina of Fes, one of Morocco's most important historic urban areas. Walk through its narrow streets and discover traditional souks, artisan workshops, historic buildings and colorful markets.

Visit important landmarks such as the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Nejjarine area and the famous tanneries. You can also explore the Jewish Quarter, known as the Mellah, and enjoy panoramic views over the old city.

Fes is particularly famous for traditional craftsmanship, including leatherwork, pottery, zellige tilework and metalwork.

After lunch, continue exploring the Medina and its surrounding historic areas. Your guide can adapt the visit according to your interests, whether you prefer history, architecture, shopping, food or photography. Return to your riad in the evening and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner.

Fes Breakfast
Day 4

Fes → Meknes → Volubilis → Rabat

After breakfast, leave Fes and travel toward Meknes, one of Morocco's four imperial cities.

Explore the historic center and see important landmarks including Bab Mansour, the monumental gateway associated with Sultan Moulay Ismail, and the old imperial area. Continue to the Heri es-Souani granaries and the Agdal Basin before enjoying some free time.

From Meknes, continue to the nearby archaeological site of Volubilis. Explore the impressive Roman ruins, including ancient columns, mosaics and remains of the old city. The site provides an interesting contrast to Morocco's Islamic and imperial heritage.

Continue toward Rabat, Morocco's modern capital. In the late afternoon, visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Kasbah of the Oudayas.

The combination of Meknes, Volubilis and Rabat makes this one of the most historically rich days of the tour.

~250 km Rabat Breakfast
Day 5

Rabat → Casablanca → Marrakech

After breakfast, continue south toward Casablanca, Morocco's largest city and economic center.

Begin your visit with the spectacular Hassan II Mosque, located beside the Atlantic Ocean. Its impressive architecture and seaside setting make it one of the city's most recognizable landmarks.

Continue through central Casablanca and see Place Mohammed V, the Habous Quarter and other notable areas of the city. You will have time for lunch before continuing toward Marrakech.

The road south takes you away from Morocco's Atlantic coast and toward the interior. As you approach Marrakech, the landscape gradually changes and the distinctive colors of the Red City begin to appear.

Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon or evening and check into your riad or hotel. The evening is free — you can explore the famous Jemaa el-Fna square, walk through the surrounding souks or enjoy dinner in the Medina.
